We want to reduce the environmental impact of transporting our goods.

 

Les Lunes aims to further reduce its own carbon footprint by preferring to transport goods to Germany by ship or train.

 

While the share of air freight shipments was 75% in 2020, we were able to reduce this to 48% in 2021 and further reduce it drastically with 5% from mid-2022.  The share of ocean freight shipments was increased from 7% to 22% in 2021 and has been 66% since mid-2022.

 

Since mid-2022, it has also been possible to transport goods by train again, a transport option that we at Les Lunes have been using more and more since then and which currently amounts to around 5%.
