When selecting Les Lunes fabrics, we use "low-impact fibers" - raw materials and yarns that have less impact on the environment compared to other raw materials.
This thought was the starting point why we started with bamboo and the bamboo viscose derived from it in 2019. In 2021, 26% of our total products were made from LENZING™ ECOVERO™ viscose, currently the world's most sustainable alternative, and in 2022 this percentage was also increased again.
In our knitwear, the use of polyester and acrylic is often unavoidable, here we mainly rely on certified pre- and post-consumer recycled variants.
If cotton is used, we mostly use Organic Content Standard certified organic cotton. This enables transparency and traceability throughout the entire supply chain.
